Dr. Nicole Williams: Diagnosing ovarian cancer
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Nearly 22,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year. It can be the deadliest type of cancer, with only a 44 percent survival rate at five years.
But there is good news. If diagnosed early, the survival rate is close to 90 percent.
Dr. Nicole Williams, the founder of the Gynecology Institute of Chicago, joined us on FOX 32 News at Noon to tell us more about this disease.
