FOX 32 Sunday: Anne Statton & Emily Miller

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It is a model for the rest of the country, having prevented hundreds of babies from being born with HIV/AIDS. But it's now in danger of being put  out of business by fussin' and feudin' politicians in Illinois's State Capitol.

About 1 in 4 babies born to an an infected mother typically end up with HIV/AIDS themselves which makes the success of a state-funded Chicago Prevention Initiative so remarkable. None of the 150 children born to infected women here last year have contracted the deadly disease. But the state owes the program $845,000 and it may have to close its doors.
