CHICAGO - Funeral services were held Tuesday for an Aurora police officer who died from COVID-19.
Officer Brian Shields passed away last week.
He was a 16-year veteran with the Aurora Police Department.
Officers lined up outside the Harvest New Beginnings Church in Oswego for the officer's service.
A big American flag flew overhead.
Shields was 51 years old.
