Half dozen kids age 18 or younger shot in Chicago
CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - A half dozen kids -- 18-years-old or younger -- were shot in Chicago over about a 36 hour period.
That includes three young victims shot in Lawndale. Tyran Watson, 14, was shot in the head. A 10-year-old and an 11-year-old were also injured in the spray of gunfire.
Tyran was on his way to get a sno-cone.
"[Tyran's mother] was just saying, she thought she failed the child. She tries to keep him safe, but..." said Rev. Dr. Donovan Price.
A 13-year-old was also shot and injured in South Austin on Saturday morning. Two 15-year-olds including Pierre Williams were killed.
