Man killed in Southwest Side shooting, no arrests made: police

A shooting late Sunday afternoon on Chicago’s Southwest Side has left one man dead, and police are continuing to search for the suspect.

What we know:

The incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of W. 60th Place. 

Chicago police said the 20-year-old victim was in an alley when he was shot multiple times in the armpit area and the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

What's next:

Police have not shared any details about the suspect.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
