Police: 17-year-old boy shot to death in South Shore

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - A 17-year-old boy was shot to death Monday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.
The shooting happened in the 7400 block of South South Shore Drive about 2:05 p.m., police said.
He was shot at least once and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
