'The Meddler' delightfully unearths realities of mother-daughter relationships

Director and writer of "The Meddler," Lorene Scafaria, joins Good Day Chicago to talk about her mother's influence on the film and how her own experiences shaped the process.

Starring Susan Sarandon and Rose Byrne, the dramatic comedy shows the trials of an aging widow who moves to Los Angeles to live with her daughter and looks for a new start in the process.

"The Meddler" is in theaters nationwide on April 29.
