Toews speaks out on Kane investigation

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - There are new developments in the investigation into Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.

According to several reports, a woman has been subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury regarding the situation in Buffalo. The woman is reportedly a friend of the woman who claims Kane raped her.

Thursday, Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews addressed the situation on a Winnepeg radio station.

"I think you just have to confidence that things like that will resolve themselves over time. And for the time being, you just stay together as a team. You support your teammates . We don’t let anything that goes on on the outside affect the way we do our job," Toews said during an interview.

A woman claims Kane attacked her last month at his home after meeting him at a bar. Kane has not been charged.
