Here are the best stores to shop for Black Friday deals, based on sale data
How ‘Black Friday’ lost its magic
Black Friday has always provided plenty of headlines, both good and bad. Here's a look at how crazy things got over the last few decades before the internet settled everyone down.
One of the biggest shopping days of the year is right around the corner.
Black Friday, the sales extravaganza that falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, offers big savings for holiday shoppers.
In the past, shoppers were willing to set out before sunrise, wait in long lines and rummage through crowded stores to score deals.
Last year, however, 87.3 million Americans did their Black Friday shopping online, topping the 81.7 million who shopped in person, according to WalletHub.
Some Black Friday sales are starting earlier each year, as soon as October for those who want a head start.
