CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - For Cubs fans it’s Christmas in October, because one the biggest rivalries in the MLB are facing off.

The Cubs and Cardinals will meet in the playoffs for the first time ever Friday.

Not many Cubs fans are in St. Louis yet, so FOX 32 wandered over to the city’s fake version of Wrigleyville to take the temperature of Cardinals Nation.

FOX 32: You a little bit scared of the Cubs right now?

"A little bit. I think they have a good pitching staff between Arrieta and Lester. Should be a good challenge," one man said.

"We're the Cardinals though. We have nothing to worry about. Everybody hates us because we're so good," a woman said.

That sort of chutzpah might make Cubs fans even more eager to crash the Cardinals party, so FOX 32 checked at the box office.

However, no tickets were available.

But FOX 32 found plenty of tickets on the secondary market, as cheap as $79 bucks for standing room on StubHub.

Compare that with 300 dollars for standing room at Wrigley Monday night, and it might be worth the five hour drive.

Plus, St. Louis has public art.

But just when you're feeling like a stranger in a strange land…

FOX 32: Could you let us just win one?

Cardinals fan: “I hope you do. You're ready. You deserve it."

FOX 32: So you wouldn't mind just rolling over for the next three games?

Cardinals fan: "Nope."

FOX 32: I'm getting a tear.

Cardinals fan: "After all these years you guys deserve it."
