Timothy Snyder discusses 'On Freedom,' Trump, and U.S. democracy's challenges in new interview

FOX 32's Paris Schutz sits down with Yale historian and author Timothy Snyder to discuss his new book, “On Freedom.” Snyder is previously author of the book, “On Tyranny,” and considered an expert in Eastern European History and the history of fascism throughout Europe. Snyder talked about why he believes Americans have a flawed concept of what ‘freedom’ actually means, and how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sees it. The interview also touched on Synder’s concerns about current political events in the United States, and warning signs he believes that Donald Trump is behaving more and more like Fascist dictators throughout history.
