Pat Robertson, Christian broadcaster, dies at 93

Pat Robertson was known nation-wide as an Christian evangelist broadcaster. His "700 Club" TV program ran for 50 years. Robertson even made a run for president after he helped make religion central to GOP politics. He died at age 93.

Pope Francis to undergo intestinal surgery

Pope Francis is in the hospital undergoing surgery on his intestines. The 86-year-old was put under general anesthesia for the operation and is expected to recover in the hospital for several days.

AG Report: 451 Catholic clerics abused children

Illinois? attorney general released the results of a sweeping investigation into allegations of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy on Tuesday, saying investigators found that 451 clergy sexually abused nearly 2,000 children since 1950 ? far more than the 103 individuals the church had named when the state review began in 2018.
