YWCA Chicago opens eyes to life 'Without the W'

The oldest women-focused organization in Chicago is celebrating its 140th anniversary with a bold new campaign, examining what our communities would be like "Without the W."

And no, they're not talking about the Cubs.

The YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago is encouraging people to examine the impact of women on Chicago with a series of ads physically removing the "W" from Chicago's most recognizable names and landmarks such as "Windy City" and "Water Tower."

Dorri McWhorter, CEO of YWCA Chicago, joins Good Day Chicago to talk about the "Without the W" campaign and the biggest hurdles women face here in the Windy City.
