1 killed, 3 injured in Chicago shootings Wednesday

CHICAGO (STMW) - One man was killed and three other people wounded in shootings on Wednesday on the South and West sides of Chicago.
The latest shooting happened around 10 p.m. when a 38-year-old man was found shot to death in a car in the West Pullman neighborhood. The man was found in the driver’s seat of a car with a gunshot wound to the upper back in the 100 block of East 127th Street, according to Chicago Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
About 7:50 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in the hand during an attempted robbery in the 11200 block of South H Avenue in the East Side neighborhood, police said. The shooter fled with nothing, and the victim drove himself to Advocate Trinity Hospital where his condition was stabilized.
At 2:35 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in the arms, legs and abdomen in West Englewood, police said. The victim was walking in the 5700 block of South Throop when an SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots at him. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
A few minutes before that., a 29-year-old man was shot below the eye in the 3900 block of West Lexington in West Garfield Park, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
