6 wounded in Tuesday shootings on South, West sides

CHICAGO (STMW) - Six people were wounded in shootings on the city’s South and West sides Tuesday.
Most recently, two men were shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
The 28-year-old and 22-year-old were shot in the 5600 block of South May Street at 1:20 p.m. Both men were taken to Stroger Hospital. The older man suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was listed in good condition. The younger man was shot in the right leg and his condition was stabilized, police said.
Just minutes earlier, a 37-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.
At 1:18 p.m., the woman was driving in the 700 block of West 67th Street when she saw someone in a yard pull a gun and begin shooting at her. She suffered a graze wound to the head, and drove herself to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where she was listed in good condition. Police said it was unclear whether or not she was the intended victim.
About an hour earlier, two men were shot in the Armour Square neighborhood on the South Side.
At 12:15 p.m., a 28-year-old man was sitting in a parked car and a 27-year-old man was standing outside a vehicle in the 3800 block of South Princeton Avenue when someone walked up and shot him, police said.
The 28-year-old man, who is a documented gang member, suffered a gunshot wound to the back, police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition. The younger man suffered a gunshot wound to the index finger and took himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. He was listed in good condition.
About two hours earlier, a 31-year-old man was shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. About 10:50 a.m., the man was in the 800 block of South California when a gold four-door vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot him in the left arm. The man, a documented gang member, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
