14-year-old girl carjacked woman in Chicago's South Loop, held her against her will: police

A 14-year-old girl was arrested less than 90 minutes after allegedly carjacking a woman and holding her against her will in Chicago's South Loop this week. 

The teen faces felony charges, including aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm, armed aggravated kidnapping and possession of a stolen vehicle.

The backstory:

The incident took place after 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the 400 block of West Harrison, where the teen is accused of carjacking a 29-year-old woman and holding her against her will.

Police noted that other offenders were involved in the crime. 

The teen was arrested just before 4 p.m. in the 400 block of East 35th Street, about 90 minutes later.

What we don't know:

Police have not disclosed whether others have been charged in connection with the crime. The girl's identity has not been released, as she is a juvenile.
