Girls bring cookies to Crystal Lake officers, thank them for hard work looking for missing boy

Two sisters, Harper and Branley Wright, showed up with their mother at Crystal Lake Police Headquarters on Wednesday evening to deliver snacks for the police officers who worked incredibly hard looking for missing 5-year-old A.J. Freund.

“We just felt that we could give the officers a little bit of a snack because they've been working hard trying to find the little boy that was missing,” Harper said.

The girls' mother says that despite the sad outcome in which Freund was found dead, they are thankful for all the work the officers put in.
