Indiana man arrested on child pornography charges
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - An Indiana man was taken into custody on Thursday following an investigation into multiple reports of child pornography.
Andrew Christian Crouch, 23, of Michigan City, faces three counts of possession of child pornography, according to police.
The charges are the result of an investigation initiated by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The task force received numerous CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which alerted authorities to potential illegal activity.
The investigation culminated in a search warrant being executed at a residence in the 4000 block of Breckenridge Avenue.
Following the search, Crouch was arrested and taken to the LaPorte County Jail.
Authorities have not released further details about the case at this time.
