The actor spoke with FOX 32 Entertainment Reporter Jake Hamilton to promote his new action comedy "Back in Action," but opened up about the time he spent in Chicago and the impact that the employees at the famed recovery center had on his life.

"I'm going to say this to Shirley Ryan," Foxx told Hamilton, "You guys are angels personified. You're something that I never knew I needed, but I needed it. I needed every one of them. They were soldiers, and they would not let me off the hook. They would not let me be 'the celebrity.'"
