Riverside bicycle theft suspect Michael Wiltzius
RIVERSIDE, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - Suburban Chicago police arrested a repeat offender for a bicycle theft, and then the man did something extremely offensive inside the police station.
Riverside Police said that Michael Wiltzius, 46, stole a bicycle outside a grocery store on March 23. Police arrested him and recovered the bicycle, worth about $500.
Police then said that Wiltzius pulled down his pants in the booking room and defecated on the floor.
“If I could, I would have made him clean up his own mess,” Police Chief Thomas Weitzel said in a statement.
Instead, police hired a biohazard company to clean up the mess and plan to bill teh suspect.
Police said that Wiltzius has been arrested dozens of times before.
