McCormick Place hoping for $55 million of federal relief money
CHICAGO - McCormick Place is hoping for $55 million of federal relief money.
The convention site is asking for $15 million from the state to attract shows and events.
It’s also asking for $40 million to help keep the lights on.
They say this money is especially important if they are not allowed to hold any events until 2022.
