Scotty McCreery talks new book 'Go Big or Go Home'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - He captured the hearts of millions -- after winning Season 10 of  "American Idol" when he was just 17 years old.

That was back in 2011. Since then, Scotty McCreery has become one of country music's hottest new stars.

He's sold nearly 2.5 million albums, received both platinum and gold album certificates and that doesn't even begin to cover all of his awards.

Now, Scotty is releasing a new book... called "Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Towards the Dream," a book he likes to call a "travelogue" and not an "autobiography."

McCreery joins the show to talk about his new book and what he's been up to during his post-Idol life.
