Seven wounded in Thursday shootings across Chicago

CHICAGO (STMW) - Seven people have been wounded in shootings Thursday on the South and West sides.
The most recent attack happened just after noon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
An 18-year-old man was shot in the left arm in the 6100 block of S. Laflin Street at about 8:45 p.m. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, according to preliminary information from police.
No further details were available.
About ten minutes earlier, a 40-year-old man was shot in the Ashburn neighborhood.
At about 8:35 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7800 block of South Trumbull Avenue when someone walked up from an alley and shot the man. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.
Two hours earlier, on the same block, a man was injured in a drive-by shooting in the Ashburn neighborhood.
A 25-year-old was walking in the 7800 block of South Trumbull at 6:15 p.m. when a red car drove by and someone inside opened fire. The man, a documented gang member, was shot in the lower left leg and later walked into Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
About three hours earlier, two people were shot in the East Side neighborhood.
An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were shot at 3:36 p.m. in the 10500 block of South Avenue B. The man was shot in the back and was taken in serious condition to Advocate Trinity Hospital. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital. A police source said the man was not cooperating with investigators.
The woman suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
An hour-and-a-half earlier, a man was shot in the Avondale neighborhood. A 25-year-old man was sitting in his car in the in the 2900 block of North Kedzie at about 2 p.m., when a someone from a passing vehicle fired shots and drove away. The man, a documented gang member, suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm, and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.
In the first shooting of the day, a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg during a domestic fight in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
About 12:20 a.m., the man got into an argument with the mother of his child in the 1500 block of South Avers when another male pulled out a gun and shot him once in the right leg. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
No one is in custody for the attack.
