The mother of a 17-year-old Chicago boy who was shot multiple times on the Near North Side was brought to tears when she described seeing her son laying on the ground with gunshot wounds Thursday night.
CHICAGO - Three people were shot in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood on Saturday.
Chicago police said the shooting happened on South Essex near East 78th Street at 4:30 p.m.

A man, 46, was grazed in the leg. A man, 36, was shot in the buttocks. The third victim, a man, 46, was shot in the upper right leg.
