Flocks of people are heading to select stations across Chicagoland Thursday, as businessman Dr. Willie Wilson is back at it again, donating a total of $1 million in free gas for those struggling to afford the high prices in both Chicago and suburban Cook County. 

Last week, there was gridlock traffic and lots of chaos at Chicago gas stations when businessman Dr. Willie Wilson donated $200,000 worth of free gas. On Thursday, he'll do another round. This time worth $1-million.

A Chicago dad who has gone viral on TikTok for paying over $900 to fill up his RV is speaking out as high gas prices remain a serious concern across the country.

The average price for gas in Chicago on Sunday was $4.83, according to AAA. That's $1.55 higher than it was a year ago.

Chicago businessman Willie Wilson is donating $200,000 worth of gas across the city Thursday.

"Listen, I’m all for lower taxes. There's a lot of ways to do it. But I think, in this case, it's just a gimmick," said energy expert Phil Flynn.
