Black Ensemble Theater's 'The Marvin Gaye Story'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Known for his soulful sound, Marvin Gaye is responsible for songs we all know and love - no matter age or background.

New musical, "The Marvin Gaye Story" brings back the spirit of the "prince of soul" with the story of the legendary man behind the music.

It's playing now at the Black Ensemble Theater and joining Good Day Chicago Thursday is Rashawn Thompson, the actor who plays Marvin Gaye, Melanie McCullough who plays the role Tammi Terrell, and Clovis Bordeau on the keyboards.

The Marvin Gaye Story is playing now through July 10 at the Black Ensemble Theater. Tickets are $45 and are available at BlackEnsembleTheater.org
