U. of Chicago to conduct study on homeless youth in U.S.

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - There are an estimated 2 million homeless teenagers in the United States, and an estimated 20,000 of them are right here on the streets of Chicago.

Now, for the first time ever, there will be a study of exactly how many kids and teens are without a home around the country.

Research will be conducted by University of Chicago's Chapin Hall. Chapin Hall's executive director Bryan Samuels joined Good Day Chicago Monday to explain who exactly they will be studying.
