Chicago man faces attempted murder, robbery charges in January shooting

CHICAGO - A Chicago man has been charged with shooting a man and robbing two other people at gunpoint earlier this year on the city's West Side.
The backstory:
The shooting happened on Jan. 6 near Harrison Street and Independence Boulevard in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. Police said 30-year-old Demontre Enos shot and seriously wounded a 48-year-old man who was standing in the street. He then stole property from a 42-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman in the same incident.
Enos was arrested Tuesday in the 3100 block of West Flournoy Street. He was charged with attempted first-degree murder and two counts of armed robbery with a firearm, all felonies.
