Driver wanted for hit-and-run in Chicago's Austin neighborhood
CHICAGO (STMW) - Chicago Police are searching for a driver wanted in a hit-and-run accident that seriously injured two people last week in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
About 12:51 a.m. on Jan. 1, a silver 2-door car with a spoiler on the trunk hit two pedestrians at 611 N. Cicero Ave., according to a community alert from police. The car drove off northbound on Cicero and may have a cracked windshield and front-end damage.
