Illinois repo man pays off elderly couple's car

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Here’s a heartwarming story of a repo man that wears his heart on his sleeve.

Jim Ford is a repo man in downstate Illinois and he’s seen it all. He's been shot at, ran over, just about everything you can imagine.

Ford was called upon to repo Stan and Pat Kipping's car but when he pulled off their lot, he had a change of heart.

Ford said he saw his grandparents in the Kippings and opened up a GoFundMe account to pay off their car.

In about eight hours he had raised enough money and the Kippings got their car back Monday.
