Man shot in the chest on Chicago's South Side
CHICAGO - A 26-year-old man was shot in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.
According to Chicago police, the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7400 block of south Racine just after 9:30 p.m., when someone fired shots.
The man was shot in the hand and chest, and was dropped off at the University of Chicago in good condition, police said.
There is no one in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
