Pup hit by car in need of help on road to recovery

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - One local pooch is on the mend after being hit by a car. But his road to recovery is far from over. 

4-month old Rupert is a hound and lab mix. Rupert was hit by a car, but the people who brought him into a vet clinic were unable to pay his medical bills.

X-rays at the clinic showed Rupert had two fractures, one on each of his left legs. Now, he is in need of extensive surgery and medical care.
