TSA tweets photo of passenger's bag containing $75k in cash

The Transportation Security Administration is no stranger to controversy.

Now, one employee is in hot water after tweeting out a rather personal picture.

TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein shared a picture, taken at the Richmond airport, of a traveler's bag carrying $75,000 in cash.

She tweeted, "If you had $75,000, is this how you’d transport it?" Just asking!"

People are firing back and saying she is violating that passenger's privacy by sharing the contents.

Farbstein later said the bag was not on the prohibited items list and that the TSA did not confiscate it.
