'Zombie' raccoons infest NYC's Central Park
NEW YORK CITY (Fox 32 News) - Raccoons in New York City's Central Park are becoming infected with a virus that causes them to act like zombies.
Twenty-six raccoons have been found dead since late June. They are suspected of having canine distemper virus, reported Fox News.
Humans cannot get canine distemper, but unvaccinated dogs can
Symptoms include acting tame or confused, losing coordination, and becoming unconscious. Sick raccoons can also become aggressive.
