An arrest warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Xavier Tate Jr., who is suspected of killing Officer Luis Huesca last weekend. Tate is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Another person was taken into custody Friday night in connection to the murder.

She is one of several kids from across the country who runs a mile every time a first responder dies.

Final preparations are underway for funeral services of a Chicago police officer killed in the line of duty. Meanwhile, we're learning more about Officer Luis Huesca from those who knew him best.

The Chicago Police Department is mourning the loss of Officer Luis Huesca on what would have been his 31st birthday. He was gunned down early Sunday morning in Gage Park.

Huesca was coming home from work early Sunday morning when he was fatally shot and his car was stolen. His death also comes a year after an officer from his same district was killed while off-duty, 24-year-old Areanah Preston.
