Bryan Ramos-Ubri allegedly began to actively resist and struck the trooper multiple times and fled back to the Mercedes. The trooper attempted to remove him from the Mercedes when he allegedly kicked and pushed the trooper into active lanes of traffic on the interstate.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a carjacking Sunday at a BP Gas Station in south suburban Harvey.

A Riverdale man was arrested for allegedly holding a woman he met on a dating app against her will and beating her. She may have also been sexually assaulted.

The woman came into an AutoZone with obvious injuries, and told the cashier she'd met a guy on an app and he was not letting her go. The man came in and dragged her away.

Bond was set at $150,000 Thursday for a Dolton woman accused of stealing over $1.5 million of food - primarily chicken wings - while working as a consultant for a school district in south suburban Cook County, according to court documents.
