'X-Men: Apocalypse' embraces role as latest superhero blockbuster

(FOX 32 CHICAGO) - It's practically summer, which means we are reaching peak superhero movie season.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is the latest latex joyride to hit theaters, debuting domestically May 27. Starring Nicholas Hoult, Michael Fassbender and a host of others, the movie is the ninth installment in Marvel's celebrated "X-Men" series.
