Bears fans endure frigid gametime temps
In attendance Sunday 44,601 fans poured into Soldier Field even as the temperature started to fall. The cold might have caused some fans to second guess the going. There were 16,536 unused tickets to the Chicago Bears/Green Bay Packers rivalry.
Not even a not-so-hot record this season or the frigid weather would keep one Chicago family away.
“I have heat warmers in my hand, heat warmers in my back pocket heat warmers in my toes so, I’m good,” said Damaris Vazquez.
Free tickets encouraged Bears fan Lisa O’brien to come out on a freezing Sunday.
“It's not okay to be out right now,” said O’brien.
Bears lost to rival Packers 30-27.
