The FBI is asking for help identifying a person seen walking on home surveillance video in the area where 13-year-old Hania Aguilar was abducted on November 5.

The North Carolina teen was outside her home at the Rosewood Mobile Home Park in Lumberton, North Carolina Monday morning when she was kidnapped, authorities said. A witness heard her scream, looked outside, and saw a male subject dressed in all black and wearing a yellow bandana force Hania into a relative’s vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

The vehicle, a green 2002/2003 Ford Expedition with South Carolina license plate NWS-984, was located just before 8 a.m. Thursday. Hania was not.

The video shows what appears to be a man wearing light colored shoes, a light-colored shirt, and a hoodie walking down Lambeth Street, then turning left onto Highway 41/Elizabethtown Road towards the Rosewood Mobile Home Park. Several vehicles were seen on the video driving by. The FBI says the man may have information that could help them find Hania.

Anyone who saw the individual on the morning on November 5 or know the man is asked to contact the FBI tip line at 910-272-5871 with any information.

If you are this individual, please call the tip line and speak with investigators, your assistance may help in locating Hania.

Hania is a Hispanic female, 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 126 pounds.  She has black hair, and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with flowers and blue jeans. Hania’s family is working with law enforcement and fully cooperating with investigators to locate the teen.

A $15,000 reward is being offered by the FBI for information that leads to finding Hania. Gov. Roy Cooper announced that the State of North Carolina would be offering an additional $5,000.
