Man critically wounded after being shot on Chicago's West Side

CHICAGO - A man was critically wounded in a shooting on Chicago's West Side Sunday night.

At about 6:51 p.m., a 48-year-old man was in the 3900 block of West Fillmore when he was shot in the abdomen, police said.

He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

No offenders are in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
