One year later, families of Chicago teens killed outside high school demand answers

One year after two Chicago teens were fatally shot outside their high school, their families are still seeking justice.

On Sunday, the families of 17-year-old Monterio Williams and 16-year-old Robert Boston spoke out about the case.

What we know:

The two boys were part of a group of seven teens who had just exited Innovations High School, near Wabash Avenue and Washington Street, when they were met with gunfire.

Witnesses said a dark-colored car and a dark-colored SUV pulled up, and masked gunmen got out and opened fire. The suspects then fled southbound on Wabash Avenue.

No one has been charged in connection with the killings.

Monterio Williams’ mother said her son was four months shy of graduation when he was killed.

"Monterio was a fun, loving, very respectful young man. To know him, nobody would ever tell you anything bad him," she said.
