Sad update to Powerball winner's story

FOX 5 News (WAGA) -- The whole county cheered for Marie Holmes when she won the Powerball jackpot.

The North Carolina single mom has a special needs son and she says the nearly $188 million she won would help her take care of him. But there has been a sad development to her story.

Police arrested Holmes on charges of drug possession Thursday night. She was at her home with her boyfriend, who is under house arrest while facing his own drug charges, when police raided the home and found drug paraphernalia.

She now faces possession of marijuana charges.
