Pattie Sheehan the owner of Second Act Cancer Recovery Boutique was surprised Monday morning to find the stretch of Lincoln Avenue between Wrightwood and Diversey closed as part of a Chicago Department of Water Management project. The project is replacing nearly 3,000 feet of water main and lead service lines along the stretch and could take 2-months to complete. More than 30 businesses along Lincoln Avenue were not informed and are scrambling to figure out how patrons can reach them.
