2 arrested in Chicago police raid of DePaul University encampment

Chicago police said the encampment was dismantled by 6 a.m. at 2325 N. Seminary Ave., where the DePaul Divestment Coalition began their demonstration on April 30. Officers ordered protesters to disperse and they left the encampment voluntarily, according to CPD.

U of C protesters respond to campus police tearing down encampment

Demonstrators at the University of Chicago were given a final notice to leave their encampment on campus which was established to protest the war in Gaza. Police entered the encampment on the campus quad early Tuesday morning and began tearing down tents. Protesters continued to face off with police.
