Coronavirus is making for another unusual holiday weekend. While some people are hitting the road, others are flying. But health leaders are asking for some to stay home.

Some cities will likely see more visitors over Labor Day weekend than others.

Fright Fest is coming back to Six Flags Great America for its 30th season, park officials announced on Tuesday.

In the Loop Sunday night, Chicago police arrested dozens of young people as a huge group began taking over the streets, setting off fireworks and dancing on cop cars.

Families entered Ty Warner Park beginning at 7 a.m. prepared to have a really good time. Kids enjoyed arts and crafts and also the park’s splash pad with water shooting cannons and waterfall dumping buckets.

The Chicago Fire Department said Sunday that they had just treated a teenager who is going to lose a hand due to a fireworks injury.

The man, who is in his 20s, was hit in the face with a mortar-type firework.

“It’s all about family, all about getting together and celebrating the holiday," said one resident.
