Chicago suburb looks to ban recreational use of nitrous oxide

The south suburban village of Manhattan is looking to ban recreational use of nitrous oxide commonly known as laughing gas. Also known as whippets, they are sold at smoke shops and gas stations and can have deadly effects. Manhattan police chief Jeff Wold talks more about it.

Manhattan rescue farm in dire need of more space

A beloved animal rescue just outside of Joliet, Ill. is in dire need of more space. Hands, Hooves and Hope Ranch in Manhattan is at capacity and some of its land is about to become unavailable.
