Common Pantry celebrates new home with 'I Am Your Neighbor' party

The city's longest serving food pantry is celebrating their 12th annual I Am Your Neighbor Party this Friday at Artifact Events. There will be music, small bites and beverages to raise money to fight hunger in the community. The party isn't they only thing to celebrate, after five decades the panty has its own building.

Oktoberfestiversary returns to Ravenswood Corridor this weekend

Local breweries Dovetail and Begyle are celebrating their annual Oktoberfestiversary. Eateries like Bad Johnny's wood-fired pizza will be there Saturday. The event will raise money to donate millions of meals to The Friendship Center. Head down to the Ravenswood Corridor for live entertainment, beer, food and general merriment.
