It's a day to highlight the fight for workers rights.  We're talking about may day.  As you see hundreds of people were there. There were several rallies in our area.  And as much as May Day is about bringing awareness to struggles of workers..  It's become a controversial topic within the Chicago Public School district since the district allowed students to miss part of the school day--- and go to the rally.  Our photojournalist Jacob karb has their message.
