Couple of cooler days ahead for Chicago but in the long run, our springs are getting warmer.

Any showers this morning build into a steady, soaking rainfall by the evening commute. Rain continues tonight then becomes more showery in character tomorrow.

We had our first official 70-degree day on Wednesday and we might not be that far from it again early this afternoon before chillier air slides in from the north and along the lake. 

Other than some patchy fog early this morning, today promises to be spectacular.  

Surging into the 60s Wednesday in Chicago but snow could fall just a couple days later.

Whether it feels like late February or early April depends on how close to the lake you are today. Near the chilly water, highs today may barely climb into the 40s, while about an hour’s drive to the west, it could be 62 degrees.
