EXCLUSIVE: FOX 32 News has learned Lavelle Redmond spent 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to taking part in a brutal gang rape and beating in the Roseland neighborhood in 1991. He and three others kidnapped and sexually assaulted two girls, ages 13 and 14.

The victim was treated for a stab wound to the back of the head and over 30 lacerations to his arm.

A woman died and two police officers were seriously injured in Dolton Tuesday after a confrontation at a restaurant that led to a police-involved shooting and a car crash.

Robert Morgan, 50, was found dead in a hotel room in the Dominican Republic. The American Embassy has conducted an autopsy but the cause of death has not been determined.

Three men were wounded in two separate shootings Sunday night at a bowling alley in Dolton.

Police are investigating after a man was allegedly shot Tuesday on I-94 near south suburban Dolton.
